June 24, 2025 - Perspectives on what it means to be an ally to the 2SLGBTQ+ community

Today we heard the perspectives of three people who have become advocates within the 2SLGBTQ+ community. From socially conscious businesses to mental health supports to resources for teachers we heard about the work being done by Tyler Babiy (T Squared Social/Social Made Local), Niko Alexander (Their Collective) and Cas Weiner (Indigenous Teachers for Two-Spirit Youth (ITTSY). We also learned what being an ally looks like for Regina dad Jada Yee and how to make progress even if you don't have perfection.

June 11, 2024 - Modelling Queer Pride

A Pride Made Local campaign is highlighting the stories of queer young people in the province. It raises money for the Saskatchewan Pride Network which supports several rural and remote pride events across the province.

We met the person behind the campaign and three of the models who all come with their unique perspective and personal journeys.
