We only print on the highest quality garments, but even well-made clothing needs to be treated with love. So here is our most helpful advice on how to keep your Social Made Local apparel looking its best.
Turn inside out before washing.
Flip your garment inside out to protect the graphic from zippers, buckles and general abrasion in the wash. This will help maintain the artwork's integrity.
Wash in cold water.
Using cold water in the wash process will slow any fading of the garment and protect the vibrancy of the print. It's also a better choice for the environment.
Hang or lay flat to dry.
It takes more time, but the dryer is pretty hard on clothing. So when you remove your apparel from the washing machine, lay it flat or hang it on a drying rack. If you want that super soft feeling, throw your fully dry clothing in the dryer for a few minutes to fluff them up.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@socialmadelocal.ca. If your return is accepted, you will need to ship the item(s) back at your own cost. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
